Hof van Lynden
Hof van Lynden won best urban design and architecture proposal in a design competition for the development of housing in an industrial area on the edge of the town Badhoevedorp. The project proposal emphasized maximizing space through efficient compact housing with parking in the backyards, below lifted decks, or in garages under the apartment building. This design allowed for the minimal open space on the lot to be used as a landscaped public open space with long grasses, fields of flowers and trees along the existing nearby waterway.
